Our annual D.A.D.S. Summer Barbeque was held on Sunday August 6th – and the unpredictable British weather definately worked in our favour, gracing us with a generous spread of warm sunlight that turned the day into a masterpiece of outdoor enjoyment.

About 30 people attended, including the Committee, the cast and production members of the forthcoming and past productions, and many of our valued members and patrons.

The BBQ food of sausages, chicken and kebabs was beautifully grilled by Dave and Roy, and the accompanying salads and bread went down a treat. And let’s not forget the grand finale – the delicious desserts that vanished like magic, leaving smiles and satisfied sighs in their wake. And all washed down with a choice of red, rose and white wine, delicious Pimms, beer and soft drinks. It was the true recipe of an excellent BBQ!

Louise Enticknap did a little speech and thanked everyone for coming, and also took the opportunity to unveil this new website, which was then showcased on a laptop screen later in the day.

All in all, it was an excellent day, enjoyed by all and as usual, a resounding success.
