  • What some members of DADS do inbetween performances…
The curtains closed, the audience clapped and then departed, the set was dismantled, and everyone went home… after a production ends, there is a long gap between the end of one show and the excitement of planning for the next show. Some members of DADS, however, fill their spare time inbetween shows in a slightly unique way. “Toad Patrolling” is a unique nocturnal activity where volunteers rescue endangered amphibians from deadly roads during their annual migration to mating grounds. As the weather turns mild and wet in early spring, amphibians such as toads, frogs, smooth and palmate newts and the… Read more: What some members of DADS do inbetween performances…
  • Surprise! Surprise! – The Curtains are Closed
The 2023 D.A.D.S. production of “Surprise! Surprise!” ended last night after three successful performances, and the curtains have now closed. We entertained a full audience at Winn Hall on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and the feedback we’ve received already about the show has been overwhelmingly positive! Both the cast and backstage crew thoroughly enjoyed the experience, sharing plenty of laughter backstage before and after each show. Our huge thanks go to everyone involved in the show and also to everyone who turned out on the three rather chilly Dunsfold evenings to watch us perform. We hope you enjoyed it… Read more: Surprise! • 2023 D.A.D.S. Summer BBQ
Our annual D.A.D.S. Summer Barbeque was held on Sunday August 6th – and the unpredictable British weather definately worked in our favour, gracing us with a generous spread of warm sunlight that turned the day into a masterpiece of outdoor enjoyment. About 30 people attended, including the Committee, the cast and production members of the forthcoming and past productions, and many of our valued members and patrons. The BBQ food of sausages, chicken and kebabs was beautifully grilled by Dave and Roy, and the accompanying salads and bread went down a treat. And let’s not forget the grand finale –… Read more: 2023 D.A.D.S. Summer BBQ
