Ah, the annual D.A.D.S. Summer BBQ! Held on Sunday August 4th, the British weather decided to put on its best behavior, showering us with glorious sunshine. Perfect for lounging around the plush lawns, enjoying great company, and pretending we were on a tropical getaway—if only for a day!

We had about 30 fabulous attendees, including our illustrious Committee, some stars and backstage geniuses from our upcoming production, and a bunch of loyal members who know a good BBQ when they see one.

The culinary stars of the show were none other than Dave and Roy, who worked their magic on the grill, serving up sausages, chicken, and kebabs that were almost too good to be true. The salads and bread played their supporting roles perfectly, and the desserts? Let’s just say they pulled a disappearing act worthy of Houdini, leaving only happy faces and contented bellies behind. The drink lineup was just as impressive, with options ranging from red and white wine to refreshing Pimms, beer, and soft drinks.

In short, the day was an absolute blast, with laughter, delicious food, and great company making it a true recipe for BBQ perfection. Here’s to another resounding success in the books!
