Preferring to stay well hidden from the audience, Phyllida volunteered to be D.A.D.S.’ secretary rather than a performer.  Having a career involving the use of spreadsheets, Word docs, emailing and organising people, she feels she is much better suited to being the secretary!

However Phyllida’s brush with actors and directors has a long history – from painting scenery for Canterbury College productions during her A levels to working on a film in the Australian outback (note: not acting again!) during a short period living in Alice Springs.  

Now, her focus is helping charities to find money to keep operating – her small organisation (small, because she is the only employee) Vision Mission – https://visionmission.co.uk/ –  has helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds to support people with disabilities, and vulnerable children and young people.  

Phyllida moved to Dunsfold from London nearly 4 years ago and loves nothing better than walking in the Surrey Hills with Bertie (Australian Labradoodle) and husband, Murray.
