Louise Enticknap

Louise first became a member of D.A.D.S. in the early 80s when she was in the Young D.A.D.S. This culminated in her playing Rabbit in the D.A.D.S. version of Winnie the Pooh.

Louise volunteered to join the D.A.D.S. committee in March 1998, at a time when the society was at risk of closure, and has been on the committee ever since, holding the role of Chair for approximately 10 years.

When Louise joined D.A.D.S. again it was with the intention of helping backstage. Over time she started “treading the boards” and has been the producer on a number of plays, along with co-directing 3 plays.

During her time on stage she has played a variety of roles with some of the most memorable being Edith in Blithe Spirit, Octavia in Tiptoe through the Tombstones, Vera in Stepping Out, Alice in Vicar of Dibley and Banquo in the Farndale Avenue Townswomen’s version of Macbeth.

In 2023 Louise both directed and produced the November production of Surprise! Surprise! but is looking forward to ‘treading the boards’ again soon.
